My artwork is inspired by a lifelong love of the sea and the stories found in working dockyards, harbours and coastal landscapes. Sailing and exploring the coastline have given me a deep appreciation for weathered boats, shifting tides, and the character of maritime life.

Working primarily in watercolour and ink, I aim to capture not only the scene but also the atmosphere, history, and emotion of each place. Rather than photographic accuracy, I seek to evoke a sense of place and invite the viewer to imagine the stories behind each subject.

Each piece is drawn from my own experiences and observations.

Lucy is dedicated to capturing the magic of Cornwall and Devon. She transforms familiar local scenes into colourful, modern celebrations of the West Country using vibrant acrylics. From salty harbors to winding village streets, her art is an invitation to see the South West through a brighter lens.
These unique and vibrant artworks can light up any room, and they look fabulous in the gallery.

Benjamin (b.1988) was born and raised in Plymouth. He spent most of his early years spending time in the outdoors. If it wasn’t by the coast it was on Dartmoor. Family holidays often to the lake district which has given him a keen interest in nature, the environment and outdoor sports. This led him to live in British Columbia, Canada, for two years. It was here that he became even more fascinated with the natural surroundings which shone through in his work and he began drawing detailed mountain ranges and animals. His artwork subjects now include local landmarks and nature.
His methods combine modern detailed ink-work inside geometric shapes with water colour. His techniques include stippling, a highly detailed form of shading, along with precise line work. Ben is also a graphic designer which has had a big influence in his use of geometric shapes. These shapes act as small windows to view another part of the piece, which also makes the artwork pop. He uses water colour to add a dramatic splash of vibrancy in an abstract manner to give the piece an added sense of depth. The colour always links to the subject.
Now back living in Plymouth he continues to produce originals with local inspiration and has these available as limited edition prints.

Jackie is a contemporary textile artist known for her vibrant, imaginative and tactile creations.
Her art often blends illustrative and semi-abstract styles, rich in colour, texture, and narrative, celebrating elements like flora, fauna, seascapes and scenes from everyday life. Jackie describes the fabrics she uses as her “paint” and thread as her “paintbrush,” focusing on transforming rescued materials into pieces that feel joyful, uplifting and full of personality.
She lives and works in Devon where the natural landscapes and wildlife of the region strongly inspire her work.
Her work has been exhibited across the UK and has attracted numerous collectors, with pieces held in private collections throughout Europe, the USA, and Australia.

Sheron King BA 3D Design, MA Contemporary Design is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based near Plymouth, creating art and design works under the name 'Rosa King Designs'.

Sheron is a bright colour and texture maximalist with her practice exploring storytelling or the joy of simply creating, through mixed media: marks, paint, markers, inks, collage, print, stitch and tactile inspired surfaces.

Many inspirations come from her own studio collections of vintage textiles, lace, buttons, papers, found objects and ephemera, all with real and imagined narratives. Inspiration also comes from her travels to India and Morocco and more locally, the stunning coasts and moors of Devon and North Cornwall. Inspired by the hidden and found narratives, Sheron often works through landscapes and loose florals creating layered works that evoke joy, memory, place and quiet narratives. Sustainability is central, with many original works incorporating repurposed elements.

Alongside her studio work, Sheron founded Mad Hatter Studio, where she leads workshops encouraging curiosity, experimentation and confidence. Whether creating or teaching, her aim is to celebrate creativity and the beauty and joy that emerges through exploration, play and thoughtful craftsmanship.

Richard was born in Somerset and has lived in Devon for over 40years. He has always been interested in art, and was influenced and encouraged by his father, who was also a painter. He is self taught, and paints from his home studio, in a range of styles and techniques. These range from loose, wet on wet watercolours, to very detailed oil paintings. Having tried and experimented with various media, his preference now lies with oils.
He is attracted to capturing the play of light on a subject, be it urban, landscape or life painting, and has a fascination for reflections created by the movement and flow of water. His style is influenced by artists such as JMW Turner, Alvaro Castagnet, Fabian Perez and Andrew Wyeth. He has undertaken commissions for private homes in the UK, France, Canada and New York.

Heather’s sculptural works communicate and question beauty, strength and the fragility of human nature. Her interest lies in how our perception of being in, knowing and belonging to a place affects our emotional awareness and thinking.
Heather is an Inter-disciplinary Artist, Art tutor and Curator, exhibiting nationally and internationally with private collections in the UK, Europe and
the USA. She studied Fine Art in Hertfordshire and 3d Sculpture at the Art Academy in London.
Not only are we thrilled to have a collection in the gallery, we are also very excited to announce that Heather will be running figurative sculpture classes and workshops in our wonderful teaching space.

Naomi Ainsley is a South Hams based painter who paints in a variety of mediums. We have a wonderful collection of her oil and mixed media work.
A prominent member of Salcombe Art club for many years, Naomi considers herself very fortunate to live and paint in such a beautiful area with a constant source of inspiration.

Kim Watkins is a mixed media artist who specialises in creating colourful and lively artworks using recycled paper materials. Instead of using new supplies, she collects a wide variety of sources such as historical almanacs, maps, tide timetables, and even everyday junk mail. By reusing these materials, she not only reduces waste but also gives old paper a new purpose within her art.
Her work is jolly and vibrant and full of interesting textures, created through layering and combining different types of paper. Each artwork is more than just something to look at; it acts as a visual narrative. This means that her pieces tell a story, both through their overall design and through the original meaning of the materials she uses. For example, a piece of a map might suggest travel or exploration, while an old document could represent history or memory.
In addition to framed artworks, we also have some of Kim's popular journal / notebooks!

Nigel is a Devon based printmaker, photographer and Dartmoor walking guide. Words, wildlife and landscape are important influences in his work.
He enjoys the diversity of printmaking and in particular the precision and graphic look of lino-cutting. He also loves to experiment with collagraphs and other techniques. In some instances an image will start as a photograph and evolve into a print.
We now have a fabulous collection of his work in the gallery. We love these imaginative, unique and playful pieces.

Perri Wilkes is a SouthWest based artist who focuses on themes of ocean and nature. Working mainly in watercolour, ink and gouache, Perri manipulates these mediums to capture the beauty and intricacy of the ocean world as she experiences and sees it.
Her stunning work is inspired by the beautiful British coast as well as her adventures throughout the world. Her vibrant intricate work captures her love of ocean life perfectly.
As well as original work, we will also be stocking Perri’s wonderful limited edition prints too.

Tom grew up in the Southwest of England and has been drawing for as long as he can remember, however his passion for painting started when he first went to a Devon beach as a young teen to try surfing. It was on the sunlit evening that he fell in love with nature as an artist. "There is a living and mystical quality to this phenomena and I see ocean swells like the breath of planet Earth, I will always respect it”.
After attending art college, Tom became a graphic designer, designing screen printable designs for brands such as Burberry and Fat Face, he also created and ran his own streetwear label. Following a spiritual trip to India, his art took a symbolic and spiritual turn. He saw the ocean as symbolic of states of mind - and even of consciousness itself. Suddenly works of William Blake and Salvador Dali made much more sense to him.
Tom now runs his art practice in Plymouth and paints from direct inspiration and also paints work directly commissioned by people which is always very well received!

Nicola is a Cornish artist who is best known for her beautifully illustrative seascapes featuring her signature quirky waves and repeated motifs. A long standing member of the Association of British Naive Artists, Nicola has exhibited her work across the UK & beyond. The Cornish coast plays a huge part in the inspiration behind her joyful work and when she isn’t painting in her Rame Peninsula studio, she’ll be in her second home - the ocean!
We are very excited to see the new collection she is currently creating for us!

Based in Plymouth, Kevin runs his own studio practice alongside teaching.
"I returned to ceramics after many years of not practicing it, as an antidote to designing objects for mass production with their carefully planned and perfected surfaces and forms. It was a move away from the computer screen to the act of direct making and to the wide and peculiar attributes of certain types of mud as a material. Therefore, my work is contemplating the qualities of the material and the effects of stretching different techniques rather than applied pattern or decoration. It is largely experimental and influenced by Japanese principles of design and Nerikome which I feel are converging with the attitudes increasingly found in design in a post-industrial western society.
In the future objects will have more value found in their personal or cultural meaning, they may be less disposable, more breakable, mended, imperfect, changed in their purpose and certainly unmistakeable in their not being factory produced.
What does this mean to the nature of future objects and the act or attitudes to making and aesthetics?
My objects could be seen as ancient or modern, damaged or imperfect or even just perfect.

Born and raised in Plymouth, Michael studied Graphic Art and Design at Plymouth College of Art, where his passion for drawing and painting first developed. After graduating, he worked as a freelance illustrator before focusing fully on his own painting practice. 
Michael is best known for his expressive watercolours and mixed-media works that capture the coastal landscapes and scenes of the West Country, especially around Plymouth and its surrounding areas. His paintings often convey mood and atmosphere through a sensitive handling of colour and form, suggesting a strong sense of place without overly defining every detail.  He loves to create abstract pieces too and we’re so chuffed that he has created a collection for us!
An active member of the local art community, Michael serves as President of the Plymouth Watercolour Society and is a member of the Plymouth Society of Artists. He also teaches watercolour painting and leads workshops for art societies throughout the region. 
His work has been exhibited widely in galleries across the UK, especially London, and his pieces are held in private collections across the world

Shirley Kirkcaldy is a contemporary landscape painter based on Dartmoor in Devon. Her work is informed by the wild moorlands and dramatic coastlines of Devon and Cornwall, where a strong sense of place underpins her practice.
Working primarily in oils and mixed media, she creates expressive, emotionally resonant paintings that move beyond direct representation. Her approach is intuitive and process-led, using distinctive mark making, layered colour and rich texture to explore light, space and atmosphere. Each painting is an interpretive response to the landscape, capturing its energy and character rather than a literal record.
Shirley exhibits nationally and her work is held in private collections in the UK, Europe, the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. She is an elected Academician with the South West Academy of Fine & Applied Arts (SWAc). Alongside her studio practice, she teaches a range of workshops and works full time from her Dartmoor studio.

After graduating from Plymouth College of Art, Sean channelled his artistic flair into the craft of framing and now runs a highly successful framing studio, ArtFrame Solution - Picture Framers, where Gallery 360 is also located.
Sean excels at creating unique, personalised framing styles and is trusted by professional artists across the county to present their work at its very best.
Beyond traditional framing, he specialises in framing three-dimensional objects and believes no challenge is too great. From gold bullion bars to a full-size wedding dress, Sean can be relied upon to frame almost any object or artefact — always with creativity, care and precision.
When he gets the chance (!), Sean also paints contemporary acrylic works and will be exhibiting his own fabulous artworks in the gallery.

Jo is a full-time Plymouth-based artist whose vibrant, colourful work mirrors her creative spirit and outgoing personality. She enjoys experimenting with shape, form and colour, allowing intuition and play to guide her process. This approach results in truly unique, energetic pieces that celebrate individuality and joy — ranging from fun and whimsical compositions to bold statement botanical and abstract works of art.
Jo’s work is inspired by her surroundings and a love of expressive design, with each piece carefully crafted to bring colour, movement and character into a space. Jo has exhibited her work across the country, where it has attracted a growing number of collectors.

Beverley is a Plymouth-based artist whose work is recognised for its expressive abstract and impressionist qualities. She creates original one-of-a-kind paintings that celebrate confident mark making and emotive use of colour. Her compositions are rich in movement and texture, with layered shapes and tonal contrasts.
Much of her work explores floral themes, vibrant palettes and dynamic brushwork. She is currently developing a fresh seascape collection, expanding her exploration of atmosphere and colour. Above all, her love of colour is unmistakable - it pulses through each piece, giving her work a sense of vitality and presence.
