Lizzie Fry

My artwork is inspired by a lifelong love of the sea and the stories found in working dockyards, harbours and coastal landscapes. Sailing and exploring the coastline have given me a deep appreciation for weathered boats, shifting tides, and the character of maritime life. Working primarily in watercolour and ink, I aim to capture not only the scene but also the atmosphere, history, and emotion of each place. Rather than photographic accuracy, I seek to evoke a sense of place and invite the viewer to imagine the stories behind each subject. Each piece is drawn from my own experiences and observations.
